Am 29. und 30. Januar 2016 fand auf der Düsseldorfer Boot die Preisverleihung des World Shootout 2015 statt. Dieser Wettbewerb, der 2011 auf Initiative eines Unterwasserfotografen ins Leben gerufen wurde, ermöglicht es Fotografen aus aller Welt - ob Profi oder Amateur - Unterwasseraufnahmen in verschiedenen Kategorien zu machen
Nach den Unterwasserfotos gibt es noch vier weitere Kategorien: Weitwinkel; Makro und Supermakro; Amateure und Wracks of the World.
